By accepting the Privacy & Security Policy and the User Agreement in registration, you expressly consent to our use and disclosure of your personal information in accordance with this Privacy & Security Policy. This Privacy & Security Policy is incorporated into and subject to the terms of the User Agreement. This Privacy & Security Policy is effective upon acceptance in registration for new registering users, and is otherwise effective on January 31, 2008 for all users.

When you use Plinth’s Website, Plinth collects and stores personal information from you so that Plinth can provide an efficient, smooth and customized experience. Plinth may collect information about you that we consider necessary for achieving this purpose such as personal contact information, demographics, traffic data, and interests and favorites. Plinth may use cookies and other technologies to enhance your online experience.
In order to access some Website services, you will be asked to sign in with your User ID and Password.  Once you register and provide Plinth with personal information, you consent to the transfer and storage of that information on our servers located in the United States.

Your Use of Other Users’ Information

In order to facilitate interaction among all Plinth Users, the Website allows you to access other users' contact information. You agree that, with respect to other user's personally identifiable information that you obtain through the Website, Plinth grants to you a license to use such information only for (a) Plinth-related communications, and (b) any other purpose that such user expressly opts into after adequate disclosure of the purpose(s).

You must give users an opportunity to remove themselves from your database and a chance to review what information you have collected about them. You shall not disclose personally identifiable information about another user to any third party without the consent of both Plinth and the other such user after adequate disclosure.
Access, Change, and Protect Your Account

You can modify your personal information by signing on to Plinth and accessing your account. You must promptly update your personal information if it changes or is inaccurate. Once you make a public posting, you may not be able to change or remove it. Upon your request, we will close your account and remove your personal information from view as soon as reasonably possible, based on your account activity and in accordance with applicable law. We do retain personal information from closed accounts to comply with law, prevent fraud, collect any fees owed, resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigations, enforce our User Agreement, and take other actions otherwise permitted by law.

Your password is the key to your account. Use unique numbers, letters and special characters, and do not disclose your Plinth password to anyone. If you do share your password or your personal information with others, remember that you are responsible for all actions taken in the name of your account. If your password has been compromised for any reason, you should immediately notify Plinth and change your password.

Modification of Terms

Plinth reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions of this Privacy & Security Policy or its User Agreement at any time by posting the amended terms on the Website. All amended terms shall automatically be effective upon posting of an updated version of this Privacy & Security Policy. Continued use of the Website after any such changes shall constitute your consent to such changes.  This Privacy & Security Policy may not be otherwise amended except in a writing signed by you and us. The User Agreement and Privacy & Security Policy set forth the entire understanding and agreement between us with respect to the subject matter hereof.
